FISH (Fund for Indian Subcontinent Heritage) is a volunteer-led nonprofit dedicated to strengthening communities across California’s Central Valley. Founded by Americans of South Asian descent, FISH brings together committed individuals, families, and local leaders who believe in investing time, resources, and leadership to address pressing social needs close to home.
Our Board of Directors plays an active and meaningful role in shaping this mission. Each year, Board members collaborate to identify and recommend a beneficiary organization for the funds raised through the annual FISH Gala, ensuring that our collective efforts are directed toward causes where we can make a lasting local impact.
Serving on the FISH Board is an opportunity to help guide our vision, steward our resources responsibly, plan a magnificent gala, and contribute to decisions that directly support the well-being of our region.
